Why Africa?
Although Africa has had for years a higher than the global average rate of steady growth in various economic disciplines, it still lacks the essential requirements for sustainable economic and social progress:
•adequate basic infrastructure for the population, especially in the rural areas,
•efficient use of available resources,
•an economic and social policy based on its potential,
•an independent economic and monetary system based on the regional realities and global challenges and
•a coordinated program to fight the high youth unemployment.
According to africastrictlybusiness.com Africa´s population will double from the current 1.1 to 2.4 billion by the year 2050, of which half will be below the age of 30. In Kenya, young people are close to 75 percent of the population.
In the most countries fewer males are born for every 100 females.
Why FOR Africa, the youth?
•The youth can and want to become the engine of economic development if there is adequate investment in its development.
A basic requirement are as well programs to promote their skills, talents and gifts as the creation of qualified jobs locally in order to motivate these young people to look forward to their future in an Africa where they can develop themselves.
•A necessary prerequisite for the creation of qualified jobs is the introduction and the adaptation of technological know-how of the industrialized countries to enable Africa to catch up faster.
With the use of the latest environmentally friendly technologies raw materials and natural resources can be more efficiently processed and used locally.
•The establishment of better adapted and interconnected regional educational, training and research centers and the creation of qualified jobs in the growth sectors, the key areas and technologies locally can contribute to reduce the poverty and its consequences.
Furthermore It can in the medium term increase the creative power of the youth and potentially turn regions of Africa into very important centers of global economic activity.
